I had not, I'm not educated enough on them to know it was possible. I did some quick research after your note and I think you are right! Iit seems way too big to be a screech owl based on the info I found online. Plus we had a breeding pair of barred owls here earlier this spring. The video is bad but it did look similar to a barred owl in appearance. We have several different types of owls here, with Barred and Great Horned being two of them. I just assumed it was a screech owl based on the call and not knowing anything else. Definite love hate with them come bed time. Thanks so much for the info!
