He’s essentially the incumbent and in Iowa he only got 52% of the vote. He got 95% last time. In conservative spaces on the internet the feeling is they can’t win now DeSantis is out of the running. This is in a party that’s all in on Trump and a party whose strategy is “meat to the base and try to stop Democrats from voting” and half their base thinks they’re defeated already.
