Make a pot of coffee. Put it in the thermos so you have room for also boiling water to make an additional pot of tea. Probably not drinking 5 gallons of water a day but hey it will keep you alive.
That video has a clicky to get to the water filter instructions.
I Also eat soup whenever possible to help stay hydrated. Besides that, I have a small pan of coarsecut oats that I have sprinkled cinnamon in and then I roll crunchy peanut butter in the oats for another meal.
Outside of that I just cook lentils.
This video however, is only on how not to die of thirst while avoiding unfortunate satis affects from tainted water. I think in fact I will not be dying a dysentery out here. Thank you very much Oregon trail.
