I don't get why people say some religion are similar. Like sure religions share some similarities with ones in close proximity like, taoism and buddism (i think so) or christianity and judiaism of there being a one true god.
Maybe now religions are similar I guess as it's not really forced on people now but, even then that's not the case with other parts of the world where the values are all totally different from are own values and it usually was/still is as, you say convert or die.
