Quantum state is something that can be in "two states at once" until being observed. Then it collapses to a single state.

Computers are based on 0 and 1 and traditional computers are built with bits being either 1 or 0.

To search for a solution a traditional computer has to go through a large number of bits flipping them between 0 and 1 a trillion trillion times.

A quantum computer uses quantum bits that are both 0 and 1. When you combine many such quantum bits you have trillions and trillions of solutions at the same time.

I'm theory... You observe the quantum computer state and it collapses into the solution instantly.
