If a bacteria does adapt to eating plastic everything that has exposed plastic will degrade similarly to untreated wood. There currently is no counter to this happening so things like wire insulation and vinyl siding will erode. Imagine all the complex electrical components that use plastic as casing and insulation. Additionally most epoxy is plastic based so computer boards will flake away and degrade.
