That excuse does not carry water. You either have logistical lines or you don't. You either do your maintenance or you don't. If you can't maintain your forces where they are, you pull them back. You do not attack piecemeal and you do not get strung out. You do not cling to positions you cannot hold. This is warfare 101.
If you gave the Russians our equipment they would do just fine, because they're a professional military. The Ukrainians are a rabble of morons and I'm sick of their whining. They blame everyone but themselves for their problems, no matter how much help they get.
Also I look forward to being able to tell everyone to fuck off when they want my advice and help in the coming troubles, since I only "shot at goat herders" and obviously have no valuable experience with war.
