I *think* I could remove the dangling accounts if I purged the domain from this server, but I'm unsure what, if any, other consequences that might have that I haven't considered.

I could also "self-destruct" the other domain, but I don't know if that'll bork aliases or anything. I'm pretty sure it'll send a lot of DELETEs across the network. Plus, I still haven't even set up the old server on another box to pull backups for people; I don't have the spare hardware at the moment.
