i'm pretty sure that they are setting the stage to normalise drone house to house searches, looks like this is starting to dawn on the rest of the people watching
fortunately the power requirement for x-ray scanners requires a very heavy battery for which drones are not able to do at the range and size without actually being ground vehicles but they can do flir, UV, visible, light concentrators, infrared spectrometry, sniffers that detect gases and high powered radar to see through some thin, solid materials like curtains, and obviously, detect all operating radio capable devices
so, in other words, in a lot of cases they can basically do a full headcount, in many cases they can identify every single person the drone can get imaging on several spectra, and then with this data feeding back across the mesh network to the comcens, call out responses
there's no way you are going to get me within the city limits of a large city for longer than it takes for me to debark and get on transport to a much smaller settlement anywhere in the USA once they get what they are chasing here, and of course they will normalise it across the world, especially in "terror hotspots" where those "asylum seekers" have congredated and formed enclaves, and once they have the sensor drones normalised they can then start calling in strike drones that kill and incapacitate targets detected by the drone swarms, and then just make the patrols routine
defund the police? yes! replace it with Google Security Services and Amazon Safety Providers, which they will use a coercive marketing scheme to force everyone to sign up for and subscribe to, and shove Rings all over everyone's houses and Alexa everywhere
