I remember a story that popped up 20+ years ago about some Parisienne taxi companies installing taser-like devices in the rear seats of their cars to deal with unruly passengers.
(Eventually they were forced to remove them as the cabbies were using the devices to shake down passengers.)
Seems to me the airlines should bring that to their industry. Start screeching? That's a tasing.
