In this item on Dutch news, leftist Israeli complained about lack of solidarity from leftists in the West. I understand their despair but think they're misinformed.

I notice a lot of sympathy for the Israeli people here - from left to right. There is also concern for the tragic fate of innocent Palestinians, but everyone knows that Hamas did something terrible to #Israel and is concerned and angry.

Please don't feel abandoned, Israeli friends - you're not!
