It's just like the flu at this point, people say, everyone's going to get it, no big deal.

I'm two weeks into my first COVID encounter. Even fully vaccinated, even with Paxlovid, it still sucks. I hope I'm near the end of the Paxlovid rebound, and will finally feel like myself in a few more days, but man, I wish this hadn't happened.

And it wasn't inevitable. People could vaccinate, people could mask in crowded public spaces, the defeatist attitude is really pissing me off.
