This is a file I clipped (see what I did there?) from my gig last night. Recorded in 32-bit float, this file is extremely, extremely loud. Over 17 DB above 0 in fact.
If your DAW can handle it, and if you've never seen the somewhat magic of a clippy 32-bit float file in action, take this, download it, put it into your DAW of choice and simply normalise it. It will do the work for you.
