I'm getting a bit emotional at the PLDI awards banquet. First, they announced that Rust won the SIGPLAN Software Award, put the names of a bunch of my dear friends up on the screen, and asked everyone who's ever hacked on rustc to stand up. I couldn't have been prouder to be one of the people to stand up.
