We have never witnessed a time more in need of being reminded on a daily basis that God determines reality, not man. The Church would be well-served to return to God’s prescription for life, even in those things we have naïvely determined were no longer necessary.
There is, perhaps, no greater “chronological snobbery” (to quote C. S. Lewis) than the stereotypical view on Leviticus.
