This was an issue in the screenwriters strike—capitalists with no talent or skill want to automate the “creation” step and only pay the workers to do the rework to make the product sellable. It is blatant theft of labor, and casts aside the intellectual/creative class. The same thing is happening in software, and I expect to see it in chemistry/pharmacology.
It’s hard to imagine that there will be no response from the people when they realize that one of the best ladders for upward mobility is being pulled up through the trapdoor…
