7 times out of 10 I'll refer say "I'm going to do jumping jacks" and then immediately correct myself: "I'm going to do jump rope"
My conclusion is that "jump rope" is a dumb name for this activity. How about "personal shield drills"? Anything but a hash collision with an actually fun name for a very similar exercise.
