This time, in the back of my mind, were Jean Beatson and Kathleen Gardiner.\n\nIn 1927, Jean and Kathleen drove from Melbourne to Darwin through the harsh Australian outback in a Lancia Lambda 🏎️✨ At the time there were no proper roads, so they followed the #telegraph line and also stayed the night at repeater stations.\n\nIn 2024, we followed the traces of Jean and Kathleen.
