The Trump administration was always going to get exactly what they wanted, in some cases by ignoring the supreme court, ignoring the other branches of government, and in all cases by administering loyalty oaths to all appointees, new federal employees, and members of the military. They are going to sideline anybody they can't fire and replace.
So, if all three branches of government are in Republican hands, it absolves the entire Democratic party for responsibility for what happens next.
