I agree with npub1eeetax7xxyr7mem486lqayj4av7czytttp9swjwn6yry6sn790lqrve209 (npub1eee…e209). Not federating is certainly a choice admins can make, but it's unlikely to have an impact considering that Threads is being bootstrapped off the Instagram social graph.
