They are also very expensive. You can interconnect them to the cloud but I really don't see why you would want to.

Regarding attacks on internet connected equipment. Deye remotely bricked a bunch of inverters in the USA last month because of issues with "authorised dealers". The poor owners were directed to Sol-Ark by a message on the screen who then offered to sell them a replacement!
