can we finally put to rest the idea that letting forests 'be natural' in highly populated areas can result in anything other than large fires?
I get the desire to let things be natural. And we should have large areas without human interference. But i also know that large fires are a part of the natural cycle. And if you dont want to burn down entire towns, you need to tend nearby forests in ways that prevent out of control fires. Like forestry experts have been warning for decades.
