To paraphrase Kakuan, after riding the bull home for the last few weeks I lost the bull today, searched, and by the end of the day had found its footprints. I am confident I'll perceive it again soon. I doubt I'll get to skip catching and taming but hope that is easier this time. #zen #Buddhism
I first read *10 Bulls* in *Zen Flesh, Zen Bones*, a compilation by Paul Reps I first bought as a teenager and bought again recently.
