While I have no doubt that bitcoin faces many battles yet, this is unlikely to be one of them for the following reasons:
1. Bitcoin is global, the Feds are irrelevant
2. Good luck arresting 19,000 (reachable) node runners globally www.bitnodes.io
3. There are estimated to be 54,000 nodes (not all reachable), tho it’s impossible to know the actual number, which is likely much higher, and will increase as more people learn, and understand the importance of running a node and how easy it is.
4. If it can be justified that someone should be arrested for the content on their node, then the owners of AWS and every other web hosting service should be arrested.. much like if they are holding Ross in prison for running a website that sold things that could cause harm, they should arrest every gun dealer, knife seller, pharmaceutical exec and the list goes on.
