Saddam Hussein tried to do the same by paying for a barrel of oil with Euros. The European Union turned its back on him. Bad move on Saddam's part, he must have been the only one in the world who did not know that the European Union is the whore of the United States.
We all know how Saddam ended up, did anyone find the weapons of mass destruction?
In this case, there is nothing the US can do against India, China or Russia, other than to provoke the third world war.
