What people want *in general* is a convincing narrative, consistently relayed by a credible spokesperson. And yeah, calling MAGA "convincing" or "consistent" might sound weird, but say what you want about it, at least it's an ethos. "Immigrants are criminals that are poisoning the blood of our nation" is not a _good_ story, but it is a _clear_ story, and people want clarity.
