Our plan is to switch over to a Rust Monero library made by our wonderful friends over at Serai DEX. It's still in development, and so we don't want to give a timeline for when this switch will be made, but we expect it to help solve the crashes we're having, compile for Windows, and reduce build times massively. After this change is made (which affects both Stack Wallet and Duo), I think we have everything we need to be considered production-ready.
