No. Honestly, all social media is grossly undervalued by its users.

> Especially when Twitter already makes a ton of money from advertising & data collection?

This makes it far less valuable, true, but it's still worth far more than $8/mo. I would argue that for the standard npub1h33uett8lde2pgq7t3h4p7xmnuy7a74k5047yj53jxk8xm6q0p2srft7g8 (npub1h33…t7g8) addict (which are most of the folks who are crying about crying about npub1x4qzvy985dlzdv45zv34p8qmrx75jss3prmrdzk9clvn0czk7z4ssrfayl (npub1x4q…fayl)), Rokosun (npub15a9…k97w) probably is worth at least $30/mo, as it exists today. Ad-free social media is worth at least $50/mo. If I had more money, I'd send $50/mo to each instance I use in a heartbeat.

We westerners take too much for granted, and are exceptionally privileged. We feel like dozens of thousands of people should work 9-5, for free, to maintain a website that we use to post toilet thoughts while pooping. This is the height of a first world mentality. Or the depth, depending on how you look at it.
