A pair of Tibbetts Brook Park Killdeer. They were very loud this morning. I noticed yesterday that one flies away to a grassy field and the other one calls incessantly until the flyer returns. They both spend a good amount of time where shorebirds typically spend their time, at the water's edge. I think they do this because the grassy fields aren't safe for them because of all of the off-leash dogs in the park.
