Alright, so closing the application is a bit inconvenient in that it removes all cookies and site data by default (as it's supposed to do). You can whitelist sites, which I have done with a few on my desktop such a Proton Mail and a couple of others that I trust to some extent. But I knew this would be an adjustment process.
