This beautiful little building was built for the Brirish Linen Bank in 1895, and was designed by William Forest Salmon. Salmon was part of one of Glasgow's greatest architectural dynasties. His father was James Salmon Senior who, amongst other things, helped lay out the first plans for Dennistoun, while his son, also called James, helped develop the distinctive Glasgow Style, the city's version of Art Nouveau building design.
