Ok, so I get that this solves a first world problem
#TIL I can have #GitLab create a URL specifying the scopes I need for a Personal Access Token.
It's annoying to look up what scopes I need for specific purpose (eg. Container Registry) because I can't remember and there are too many options.
So if I can remember to save this URL:
https://gitlab.com/-/user_settings/personal_access_tokens?name=Example+Access+token&scopes=api,read_user,read_registry
Then it opens a page with the name and scopes already populated.
I hope this helps some beleaguered #DevOps some day.
