Aren't Jamaican people descended from Africa (at least as much African Americans are-- possibly mixed with some other origins, natives/whites)?

It doesn't seem right to say Harris isn't African, if she was claiming/implying to be African American/Black American/ADOS/etc.

But, like Trump, I'm a white dude so I don't really have any standing here.
