The problem is my first name/ last name with the same starting initial sounds very cutesy romance novelist. There's nothing whatsoever wrong there except I don't write in the genre & don't want to confuse readers. If I did write romance, I would definitely lean into my name 😆
I kind of wish I'd added an extra "R" to my name -- then it would be C. R. R. Collins, which matches up with J. R. R. Tolkien & G. R. R. Martin -- classic fantasy! Missed opportunity there! 🤣
