I thought GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY was... fine, and didn't bother with Vol. 2. I'm quite intrigued by what I'm seeing as the response to Vol 3, as it seems to be polarizing. Some insist it's not just the best of the franchise, but the best MCU movie in years; others say it's hot dour garbage. Engendering such an animated response suggests the filmmaker is doing *something* right.
