So if you search for "threads" on Instagram a ticket icon will appear in the search box. Clicking on it will reveal a "ticket" for Threads. This is a thing that is currently appearing in the EU version of Instagram meaning a release of Threads in the EU and a potential join into the fediverse don't seem to be that distant anymore.
