That's fair. But I think it's the OS permissions we are looking at. And I do trust them.
Also, I use pcapdroid to see whose talking to google. And it's always no one. That being said, I do mess with the phone to see what I can get to work and the minute I enable permissions to check if something works... Well it probably dumps all the data to Google haha.
