A subsequent topic that often comes up is, how come the Kurds, the Zapatistas, anarchist Spain, Haymarket, Paris Commune IWW etc. were demonstrably able to organise large-scale with these classes, about how indigenous resistance worldwide involves whole communities and not just vanguard intelligentsia, and why can't we just, like, seize land and fucking do it? And this is generally met with more helplessness; their material conditions are different; _those_ people are used to violence, unlike us, we could never do it; they have no choice, we might lose this lifestyle (that we all hate, that makes us all depressed); besides, they're problematic anyway, the Kurds have a personality cult, anarchist Spain was swerfy, the Zapatista army structure is authoritarian, etc.
