The question isn’t “is genocide bad” it’s “do we owe the current members of the same group of the victims of a genocide a blood debt until the end of time despite us not being descended from their attackers?”
Lots of populations have been genocided, only one has milked it for almost a hundred years and used it to demand absolute fealty, a fully funded ethnostate, and billions of dollars of funding from other populations.
The point is that even if it all happened EXACTLY as they said it did, down to the 6 millionth person, how much longer does the West owe them an all-encompassing blood debt? How much longer is it to be treated as the greatest and most heinous genocide of all time? How much longer are we required to ignore the crimes of any individual or group Jewish people today, for something that happened to different people 80 years ago?
