I'm telling you guys, there is a non-zero chance that the US actually monetizes Bitcoin.
Yes, it means losing a lot of control over their own financial system, BUT, it is positively ruinous to every other country in the world.
And their own financial system is aging out anyway. Too many interests are involved, too entrenched, it's bad for business. In geopolitics like in the mafia, you need a purge every once in a while to keep things going smoothly.
