get HUGE pleasure giving things away in my Buy Nothing group--clears out clutter & someone else is putting it to use. It scratches my need for "efficiency" to have things in use. Likewise, I get very pumped by art of any kind but especially upcycling that gets arty &creative. I'm an engineer so repair has always brought pride.
We just have to re-orient what brings us pleasure & it will get more natural. And no absolutism! We're making cultural change here.
