I read a lot of characters who:
- let out a breath they didn’t realise they were holding
- bite their tongue to hold back their words so hard, they taste blood
- felt bile splash the back of their throat

I never do any of these. Well, the latter if I’m badly hungover or sick. Does these even happen in real life?
