Apparently, the CEO of Peak Design backpacks has told authorities that they can trace purchases of the backpacks because each bag has a serial number.

For context: The killer of the health insurance CEO was wearing a Peak Design backpack.

Do what you want with this information. But if I had purchased one of those backpacks recently, I would be returning it.
