I just realized that I need to be sure to say "Thank you" and "You've been very helpful" on calls with service workers because the damn company certainly uses speech recognition to get bogus metrics on "customer satisfaction" and not being "satisfied" enough could be used as an excuse to get them fired.
So now *I* have to do emotional labor as part of their shitty job.
