I'm not sure whether or not to filter out or unfollow extremist/deranged/lunatic far-left content from my feeds. There's something to be said for having people of all perspectives in my feeds, and that's something I try to do. After all, there are all kinds of people in this world.

That said, is the more insane internet content doesn't reflect reality in any significant way (such as by amplifying insignificant perspectives), what purpose does that serve?
