I keep seeing people post about the water usage of data centres and how much water they go through but isn't the cooling a closed system? May take a few million gallons to fill it up initially but then it shouldn't use any more (barring maintenance and leaks). Of course the power used to cool the water is an issue but it's not as if data centres are "stealing" water.
