Can I commend to you Scott Hamilton describing how Chris Trotter has moved from left to far right, largely because of his obsession with Māori.

We could add to his list of examples Rachel Stewart (obsessed with our trans brothers and sisters) who not coincidentally often appears with Trotter when the hard right wants a "leftist" commentator who will criticise the left.
