thereve been many easy wins they coulda really capitalized on... they coulda been the party of legal weed, the party of unwavering abortion rights, or a living wage, or the 'the rule of law'
they could even be against the gerontocracy, pro-immigration, or pro-court expansion.. more contentious but, a bold vision.
instead, "the best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity"
