no need to go that far; if you're willing to change all clients, defining an "editable short form" kind in the replaceable event range and using that instead of kind 1 would solve it

unfortunately, it's not that easy because all current clients won't show your note, this sucks for users (which often already get no engagement 🙂 ) so there's a chicken and egg problem

but if you have a time machine and could change kind 1 to be replaceable (like kind 0) in retrospect... that'd be the way to go !
