Solid brings access control to the web. It is based on the UNIX file permission system which allows:

- public web (e.g. public square)
- private web (e.g. private chat)
- shared web (e.g. facebook replacement)

with nostr login, any nostr user will be able to use advanced features and apps on the existing web. This is something that will be rolled out as a global standard to the web, with the first 10 million users already lined up

That means you can set permissions (private, public, shared) on

- any document
- any relay
- any API

The concept of private, sharted, or trusted relays, might not be needed, because the web can do that for you already.
